Thanks for finding us. Castaway Portland hosted its first celebration as a charming hidden gem back in 2011. Since then we worked to lovingly restore the space, adding modern touches and amenities while preserving the original essence and charm that we all fell in love with at the start. Today Castaway Portland has become a positive fixture in NW Portland and is one of the cities most awarded event venues.
Our team is tight-knit. Family owned and operated, brought to life by kind and dedicated staff. We are grateful for the clients and vendor partners we get to work with on a daily basis along with the creative work we are apart of. So again - thank you for finding us. We would love the opportunity to host the event you are dreaming of.
The Basics
Castaway Portland consists of nearly 10,000 square feet of wide-open indoor space, along with 5,000 square feet outdoors in our covered courtyard. The restored 1929 historic warehouse includes original wrap-around sash pane windows and 14' ceilings with original old growth wooden beams. A complete ground up restoration added polished concrete floors, centralized heating and cooling, an executive/wedding day private suite, full catering kitchen, ample restrooms and enough dedicated power to throw an all-out extravaganza.
Easily scaleable from intimate gatherings to big bashes. Convenient parking for 100+ cars within one block.

Parking is a breeze. We have 2 lots available within one block, and ample unmetered street parking.
